How It Works

• How we make a big impact with a simple concept: Our members gather quarterly and commit to donating $100 four times a year. With 100 members x $100 each, our goal is to donate $10,000 each season.
• How we select our quarterly nonprofit winner: All attending members are invited to nominate a San Diego County 501(c)3 nonprofit organization when they arrive. Out of what are usually a few dozen entries, we’ll randomly select three nominees for presentation. The three nominating members will each advocate on behalf of their nonprofit, with a brief 2-minute pitch. After the three pitches are heard, each attending member has a vote, and the nonprofit with the most votes  receives the giving circle’s collective cash donation.
• How you can join: You can register to become a member in advance, or just show up at our next event with a willingness to meet like-minded women and support local charitable organizations. We can accept your $100 contribution by PayPal, cash, or check.

Please note: 100 Women Who Care – San Diego  requires an annual commitment, beginning on the date of your first event. Example: donate $100 at your first event with a commitment to donate at the next three giving events.
